Katherine & Scotty's Engagement Session

I spent Saturday morning with Katherine and Scotty, trolling around her parents' gorgeous farm for an engagement session. Katherine and Scotty are young and ambitious and have been together for 7 years--nearly a third of their lives. They are both beautiful inside and out, and we had a lot of fun.

First stop: the front steps of the house.
There is also a lake on the farm, and their reception will be nearby. Scotty made sure there were no snakes around before they posed for this one. I don't know if Katherine will feel up to going out into the brush in her wedding gown, so I'm glad we got this when while we could.
Ah, the barn. Did I mention this was a dream shoot? Beautiful scenery, everywhere we looked.

We thought we were all done, but I spied this tire swing on the way back to the house. After I suggested we do a few pictures here, they fessed up that this is where they came on their first date. Cute!
