Hey there, li'l fella!

Take a look at this:

To you and me, it is a little rollerball thing set in plastic so it can be easily held. David used it to massage my poor, aching back while I was great with child(ren). But to Ada, it is her Li’l Fella. As in, she picks it up and says to it, in a high-pitched, tender voice, “Hey Li’l Fella! How are you Li’l Fella! Mom, look at my Li’l Fella! Can you give my Li’l Fella a kiss?”

What she's thinking, who knows? But it makes me giggle. A lot.
