Emily and Nate

Emily and Nate had a gorgeous interfaith ceremony this weekend. Nate's father is Jewish, and so they incorporated a lot of Jewish tradition into the ceremony and reception. They have a great story--they're both rabid University of Kentucky fans who met at while picking out movies at a Washington, DC Blockbuster store. Two and a half years later, the day started with Emily and her bridal attendants getting ready at her grandparents house:
The limo ride over was an emotional one... and Emily shed a few tears.

She got really excited when it was time to get out of the limo and walk down the aisle to see Nate:

She and Nate enjoyed a snuggle in the limo on the way to the reception:

Here's a couple of details from the reception... including the cake that was a gift from a family friend. I bet you'd never guess it wasn't done by someone who's been making cakes for years, would you?

This was the first wedding I've worked where the couple danced the Horah, where guests lift them in chairs. Emily and Nate had a blast... and then it was her parents' turn. Check out the look on her mom's face! She had a blast!

Congratulations to Emily and Nate... May your marriage be as joyous as your wedding day.
Lindsay
