Transformation!

Today I had the chance to shoot a very fun piece for an internet broadcast I'm working on (stay tuned! More on that in the future...). I went back to Miss Barbara Pinson's cottage to do a before and after shoot on bridal hair and makeup. Model Catherine is a really neat girl--and waaaaay more than a pretty face. She's got a full scholarship to college and wants to study business. We asked her to first, do her makeup like she would do it for her wedding. She said she wanted something "natural but sexy." Here's her take:

Well of course then we sent in the pros: Barbara for makeup and Christine Dizon to do her hair. I think you'll be as impressed as I was with how Catherine looked when they were all done working on her. She looks SO pretty and fresh-faced, don't you think?

It was really fun (even though it made me a nervous wreck to do my makeup knowing who I was working with today!!!), and I think Barbara really made her point about bridal makeup. In her words, "You don't want your flowers to look better than your face, do you???"
