Ada says... There's something fishy going on...

So we made our first foray to the Georgia Aquarium last week. I have to admit, of any kid-friendly animal activity, this was the best so far. Ada loved that she could get right up against the glass (okay, the three-foot-thick acrylic, if you want to be exact) and be up close and personal with all the aquatic life. Here she is taking a look:
Here is the reflection of her and David checking out the super cool tunnel (which was probably my favorite part).

And here she is standing at the great wall o' fish:

I got great shots of some beautiful aquatic life:

A neat experience, but waaaaaay too crowded. Very very noisy. I wish Bernie Marcus had thought to include some soundproofing in the walls. I think of watching fishies as being very relaxing, but this was anything but. Ada was so overstimulated when we got out of there that all during lunch at Fellini's she just cried and cried. I think the aquarium's still way too new and crazy for me to go back anytime soon. Maybe in about five years, when the crowds have (hopefully) died down. That said, you should go--it's definitely worth doing at least once.

I LOVE THESE SHOTS! Great job and what a fun day. It makes me miss the days when my children were little and full of wonder!
