My sweet baby Roxy turns three tomorrow. We celebrated Saturday with her Pink Flower Party. I had a ton of fun taking her theme-of-choice and turning it into a party. She invited just a few little kids--the majority of her guest list was middle- and high-school girls and adults. Roxy knows what she wants, and I appreciate that about her. Here are a few pictures of the party.

Flower Pot Cake with Pink Blooms. Cake and frosting are the Magnolia Bakery Recipe. (Thanks to my friend Sharon, a custom cake baker, for support and inspiration to do this cake.)
The setup.
In lieu of a craft (no attention span for that yet), we planted pink tulip bulbs and sent them home to go in the ground there.
She liked having a special chair just for her, and posed for a portrait.
Then she got a little goofy. My Roxy.
Big sister Ada knew just what to do...
Pink Flower Pinata.
Expert candle blower.
Opening presents (including those pink boots from our dear friend Dr. Caroline. She made Roxy feel super-stylish).
Happy birthday my sweet R.
