An Open Letter to My Blog

So, I noticed on yesterday's post that it had been two sad, long weeks, since I posted anything here on my beloved blog. And I just feel the need to apologize to my blog, and to explain to it why I have been so withdrawn and neglectful.

Dear Blog,

It's not that I don't love you, I do. But I am now mommy to three blogs. There's the SweetSnaps blog. It wants me to post pictures of cute children that aren't mine, and come up with fashionable parenting stuff to write about. Then there is the Sublime blog. It is really really demanding--it wants me to post lots and lots of pretty pictures, after I've spent entire days taking pictures and running around to make sure people in love are well-documented.

They both are very high-needs. Meanwhile you, dear blog, sit quietly, patiently, and wait for me to return. I love you, Lindsay's Lens. And I am going to do better. All you ask for is a nice recipe here, and cute picture of Roxy saying "cheese" or an adorable Ada story to get you through. You and me, we're in it for the long haul. And if you ever need me, REALLY need me, you know I'll be there.

You're the best. Thank you for understanding me. Here's a little something to tide you over...
