On the Prowl.

The Easter Egg Hunt we attend each year was another rousing success. Our friend Paula hosts dozens of kids from the church where we worship. The Easter bunny is always there to lead the kids to the hunting grounds, and Ada has always loved the Easter bunny. Here she is, bending EB's ear:
The one-year-old's get to lead the pack down to where the eggs are hidden. Roxy was pleased as punch to be in front.

I admit it: we made Roxy practice the day before so she'd know what to do. It paid off. She filled her little blue basket up, post-haste.

Ada ended up in a wooded area, totally taking the hunt quite seriously. She was hesitant to put the first egg in her basket, but eventually wound up and got going. Doesn't she look intent?

Roxy says cheese, once again to some point over my shoulder, while Ada ponders her feelings on the whole thing. My pensive little Easter egg hunter.

Happy belated Easter!
