So I filled out a form of '25 Random Things' on my Facebook page, and thought I'd get some bang for my buck by posting it here, too. Enjoy... the 25 things you never knew you needed to know about Lindsay.
1. I am a Duchess of Hazard (Kentucky). I have a certificate that says so, as well as a key to the city that doubles as a bottle opener.
2. I love my house. It's tee-niny, but we are making it work. Mainly because I like the idea of a family all being on top of each other, instead of in separate wings of the house. And because the less I have to clean, the better, thankyouverymuch.
3. In 2006, I reconciled with my best friend from high school, who I had not spoken to in over 12 years. I cannot explain how much lighter I felt that day.
4. I was secretly glad my parents did not let me go to high school dances. It spared me having to try and find a date.
5. My husband makes me want to be a better person. Every day. I am floored everyday by how much I love him and how much he loves me. Me, of all people!
6. I miss acting, dearly.
7. I fear great success. I could do a LOT more than I do, but I'm skeered. Mediocrity is A-OK in my book.
8. I have recently conquered the world of biscuit making, in honor of my Nanny, a great southern cook.
9. I like to run 5K's. No more, please. It takes me a little over 30 minutes to finish one, and I have no desire to run for any longer period of time. But I love me a 5K.
10. My senior superlative in HS was 'Most Interestingly Dressed.' Thanks, guys.
11. I have never, ever, not for one second regretted not going back to work for The Man after having kids.
12. I have Robin Leach's cell phone number.
13. My first boyfriend broke my heart by reneging on his declaration of love--via mail--two days later.
14. Because of that, I am still convinced that my friends & loved ones will up and declare they no longer like me, for no reason, on very short notice.
15. I could, at one time, quote the movie "Mermaids," all the way through.
16. I don't like shellfish. Everytime I eat shrimp & grits, I think "this would be so much better with chicken."
17. I was extremely boy crazy in high school and college. I just managed to never let any of the boys I was crazy about, know it. Love ninja!
18. My first concert was U2's Joshua Tree tour in 1988. And yes, I think that is awesome.
19. Speaking of, Bono's hair was what inspired me to grow out my bangs in the sixth grade. This was in the NKOTB big-bang hey day, so it was a pretty radical move.
20. I hope every woman who is pregnant will educate herself about their options and rights for childbirth. It can be a life-changing, empowering experience if you make educated choices, or it can be an incredibly belittling one if you let the medical industry have its way with you and your child.
21. I'm way crunchier than I look.
22. I have really bad scoliosis. Plain gimpy, am I. And it's starting to hurt more as I get older.
23. I really appreciate that my mom and dad really instilled in us the importance of being in the world, but not of the world. It comes in real handy to not care about what anyone but God thinks of you.
24. I'm think I'm a great mom. I need a lot of help from God to do it, but he comes through, of course.
25. I won a trophy in every event offered during the time I was involved in intercollegiate speech competition (I did not ever do traditional debate, though. I mean, really, how big of a nerd do you think I am?).

Your Dad is right about number 14.
#21 elicited a guffaw (^_^)
For #22 - have you tried a chiropractor? Some of them are quacks, but some actually make a big difference!
#18 - TOTALLY Sweet. Must have been much cooler than the PopMart tour Stacey and I saw
I do see a chiropractor every week. In fact, she is one of my dear friends. (see her in this post: http://lindsayslens.blogspot.com/2008/12/christmas-wrapup.html) She keeps me functioning, but there's only so much she can do, you know?
Hey I came on over for a looksee from facebook! I miss acting terribly too, I wish I had taken the Forensics team more seriously, that could have been a lot of fun! Also, I was most interestingly dressed my senior year too! Too funny.
