My latest project was to declutter and organize the big bookcase in my living room. It is part bookcase, part shoe-rack, part mantel and part entertainment system. I decluttered the top to make room for seasonal decorations (Valentine's Day stuff coming soon!). Then I organized the books by color. I have two more nooks to fill (and those Harry Potter books to clear out), and then I think I'll be quite pleased.

That turned out really well and will compliment the chair cover nicely.
What a creative idea! I never would have thought to do that. Too bad Joshua would go into an OCD fit from having book categories out of order. :)
I reorganized a bookshelf by size at the request of my realtor... it would have driven me bonkers trying to find anything later... and I am not even OCD...
