So I normally don't make many New Year's Resolutions, but this year I have a few changes I'd like to make. So here goes:
1. Run 2 5k races. I'll be knocking out my first on January 5th. I'm sooooo excited!
2. Set and stick to a bedtime. No, not for the kiddos--for ME! I am so bad about putting the kids to bed at 7 and then futzing around until well past 11 p.m. I tend to have sleep issues so if the kids are up during the night I end up one tired girl the next day. So I'm thinking 10 for a bedtime. If this sticks, I might just set a wakeup time, too. I love to get up and get things accomplished. But, first things first. Bedtime.
3. Quit Starbucks. Starting in September when they pull out the Pumpkin Spice Latte, I'm helpless in the face of the drive-thru Starbucks. Just when I'm getting tired of it, they hit me with Peppermint Mocha, and forget it. I'm gone. And even with my incredibly When Harry Met Sally-esque order (nonfat, decaf, half-the-syrup, no whipped cream), I still think that I'm drinking waaaaay too many calories. Especially since, when I'm not having a fancy-schamncy latte, I drink my coffe black, people. BLACK. So no more! Except, of course, just before weddings. My ritual. And I will continue to go to Java Monkey with my friend Lynsey after our late-night workouts.
Okay, before I get too much more on a roll and set myself up for too much failure.

Im right there with you about the Starbucks. Or maybe slowdown.We cant stop before the pre wedding ritual.
