We're Goin' to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...

Yesterday we went to the zoo; Ada's first trip. She seemed to really enjoy herself, especially in the petting zoo (where she pet the goats and called them "dog dog") and on the playground, where she did a lot of sliding (please note the leopard print pants; we try to dress her thematically when possible):
One of the highlights of the trip, of course was the pandas. Baby Mei Lan was asleep in a tree (wake up, baby!), but mama and papa Lun Lun and Yang Yang were up and eating their bamboo--much more interesting. Here's Ada taking a look:


Afterward, we checked out what Ada would look like with a panda body:

And of course her nana had to buy her a baby panda, which she didn't want to let go of:

By the time we got to the elephants, giraffes and such, Ada was so sleepy she could hardly keep her eyes open. I guess all that dog--I mean, goat--petting really wore her out. All in all, a fun day.
