So today I had the pleasure of getting to know awesome makeup artist Barbara Pinson a bit better. She calls herself "Your Favourite Fairy Godmother" and WOW does she do some incredible work. If you are a bride, a mother of a bride, a bridesmaid, or just someone in need of beauty and skincare guidance, get in touch with her! Her Before and After pictures are just incredible. And her studio--she had me over to her charming little cottage, served me Earl Grey and gave me a faaaaabulous hand massage--so cute!
Some people might think that beauty, skincare, makeup and the like are superficial and not worth trifling with. But our face is what we put forth before the world and depending on what we do, where we go and who we see, there are times when it can be really important. Barbara has worked with 9/11 burn victims, people who were forever changed by car crashes, and folks who have been ravaged by sun damage, and I believe she has the capacity to truly change lives.
At any rate, we had a grand old time and I just wanted to pass my new friend on to you! Who wouldn't want to go have fun AND get beautiful, right?
